MY Crusades work

Posted in Uncategorized on March 4, 2010 by christophersmrt09

The best part of my project is the information prvided and what I learned throgh this project . I could have improved by maybe adding some pictures, different fontstyles/colors. If I could do it over again I would probaly not change anything minus the style of my Wiki. What I liked about the prcess was the new software we used Diigo and how we got feedback on our work. What I disliked was the fact thatwe didnt get to use maybe more interactive sofwares to like communicate.

Muhammad Book

What I think I did good on in my Muhammad book is the artistical parts of the book. On the cover I made a geometrical design that goes along the borders of the page. Also I used lots of color in my drawings and made very artistic drawings. In the content of my book I think I did a good job. What I could have improved on was maybe the backsplash on the pages and to put a border on every page. what I learn more from is projects. Muhammads influence made a inmpact all over the world not just the Arabian penninsula.

What to expect in the Arabian Penninsula in 600c.e and how to survive there

Posted in Uncategorized on December 16, 2009 by christophersmrt09

If you or someone you know is going to travel back in time to the Arabian Peninsula, here are some pointers. First, when arriving in the Arabian Peninsula you should definitely have loose fitting clothing and a herd of about 5-10 Camels to help you survive. If you were to join a Caravan a good herd of Camels would help provide wool, blankets , tents, and leather hides. Camels also provide milk, yogurt, cheese, and sometimes a good source of meat. Some more advice would be to try to find an Oases. Oases provide water which allows plant life to increase in which can allow the growth of crops. In Oases many farmers bartered their crops to traders who would travel there. Finally if you were to go look at how people lived and made houses in the mountains you would notice that you would use mud bricks to build your house.

Dear Mom,

This trimester was a good one (school wise) I learned alot in all my classes. I made sure most of all my grades stayed in the A category. The one subject tha t I have most improved in is L.A. What I have learned to like to do in my spare time is to read. The one thing I dont like in school is all the science notes. In social Studies what I have learned is about life in the Middle ages and Constaninople. Those are the two of many things I have learned in this class. Thank you for listining.

What I learned in the s.s simulation was that churches were one of the most the most important buildings in medieval Europe. Also that cathedrals had a gothic design to them and had goblin sculptures on the outside to represent the gothic design and feel. They were of great architectual apperence, and that is what I learned in the simulation.
